Marrakech – Hosting the international workshop on the safety and security of major events showcases Morocco’s unwavering commitment and constant efforts for South-South cooperation, Mamadou Ndiaye Fall, Technical Operations Advisor to the Director General of the Senegalese National Police, said on Thursday in Marrakech.
‘Morocco is a driving force in South-South cooperation, and the hosting of this important meeting confirms this reality,’ Ndiaye Fall told MAP, on the sidelines of the two-day workshop, organized by Interpol through the Stadia project in coordination with the DGSN.
The Senegalese security official expressed his warm thanks to HM King Mohammed VI for the Sovereign’s attachment to international security and His commitment to multilateral cooperation in general, and South-South cooperation in particular, highlighting the age-old relations between Morocco and Senegal.
Praising the smooth running ‘at all levels’ of this workshop organized by the DGSN, Ndiyae Fall stated that it ‘enabled us to f
urther strengthen our capacities in view of the organization of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.’
‘These kinds of initiatives are extremely important for African countries,’ he stressed.
