Sunyani: Ms. Millicent Yeboah Amankwaah, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West, has donated 2,700 mathematical sets to candidates participating in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) within the constituency.

According to Ghana News Agency, the MP described the donation as her contribution to support and inspire the candidates during their examinations. She emphasized the importance of mathematics as a subject and highlighted that every student deserves the necessary tools to tackle the questions effectively.

Ms. Amankwaah also took the opportunity to advise the candidates against indulging in examination malpractices, noting that such actions could result in the cancellation of their results or specific subjects, which might disrupt their educational journey. She encouraged the students to trust their abilities and maintain confidence, pointing out that malpractice not only lacks ethics but also undermines the validity of their certificates.

Furthermore, the MP advised the candidates to manage their exam time efficiently and to understand questions thoroughly before attempting to answer them. She stressed the importance of staying calm and focused during the exams.

Ms. Amankwaah reminded the students that they should only seek assistance from invigilators if they face challenges and discouraged any interaction with fellow candidates in the examination hall.
