Governor Zulum of Borno State has attended the 3rd day funeral prayer of late Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Shuwa at his residence along Gambole road in Maiduguri.

Zulum described the late SSG as a core civil servant who brought significant reforms during his service.

He said, ” it’s in indeed a great loss to the people of Borno and Nigeria in general, Usman Shuwa, served as the Borno State SSG for the past 8 years”.

“During his service he has done very well, he is a very committed and dedicated civil servant, he brought a lot of reforms to the civil service, especially the rationalisation of the Ministries and also the rule of law among others, I pray Allah to grant him eternal peace”.

“The people of Borno will surely remember him for his contributions”.

Similarly, Zulum attended the funeral prayers of late Hajjiya Mallam an active APC member, who died at the age of 47, Zulum arrived at her residence at Lawan Bukar alongside Senator Ali Ndume, Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan among others
