Teacher at Tromeso Loses Belongings to Fire Outbreak

Tromeso: Elder Emmanuel Agyepong, a teacher, lost his personal belongings and property when fire gutted his residential apartment at Tromeso in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Agyepong, who teaches at the Tromeso Roman Catholic Basic School, reported that the incident took place on Sunday, June 8, 2025, around 1500 hours. Although no casualties were reported, the fire resulted in significant losses.

The fire destroyed several items, including three laptop computers, a refrigerator, a television set, mattresses, cooking utensils, and cash amounting to GHS 7,200. Mr. Agyepong stated that he was at the farm when he received a distress call about the fire and has since appealed for assistance.

The cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown.
