Accra: Mr Richard Ben Debrah, the President of the Local Government Service Engineers Association, has been inducted as a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Ghana (IET-Gh). In his new role, Mr. Debrah emphasized the importance of professionalism and urged engineers to work together and innovate to address the nation’s persistent flooding issues.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Debrah, who also serves as the Head of Works at the Tema West Municipal Assembly, highlighted the need for engineers to develop lasting solutions to the country’s emerging challenges. He expressed hope that through collaboration, unity, and a shared sense of purpose, engineers could effectively combat the recurring natural disasters facing the nation.
