Sekondi-Takoradi: The Fijai Old Students Association (FOSA), an alumni group of Fijai Senior High School, convened its 2025 Annual General Meeting to address important developmental issues concerning its members and the institution.
According to Ghana News Agency, the meeting aimed to discuss the school’s challenges and the association’s achievements while formulating strategies for the advancement of their alma mater. Attendees included various FOSA Year Groups and some current staff of the school who are also FOSA members.
Captain Isaac Asare-Bediako (Rtd), FOSA Global President, praised all FOSA groups for their contributions to the growth and development of Fijai Senior High School. He encouraged continued support to help the school maintain its historical prestige. Additionally, the FOSA President requested that members assist in completing the school’s fence wall to ensure the safety of students and staff.
During the meeting, a projector was donated to the school by the alumni to enhance the educational experience. The old students also toured the campus to inspect and assess various project sites, aiming to facilitate their completion for better academic performance.
In recognition of their dedication, all alumni who graduated between 1955 and 1969 received a symbolic gift of the official FOSA cloth.
