Kadjebi: Mr. Yao Gomado, the Member of Parliament for Akan Constituency, has taken a significant step to support education by distributing 1,500 mathematical sets to candidates of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in his constituency. This initiative aims to aid the students in their examinations and improve their BECE results.
According to Ghana News Agency, the presentation was made on behalf of Mr. Gomado by his personal secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Klu, at Kadjebi in the Oti Region. Mr. Klu highlighted that the MP has also promised to provide a Senior High School (SHS) prospectus to candidates who achieve an aggregate score of 6-15 in the 2025 BECE.
Mr. Klu encouraged the candidates to dedicate themselves to their studies to pass the examination successfully. He also advised them to steer clear of negative influences to ensure they grow into responsible adults.
Miss Thelma Dagbui Aseye and Master Israel Ledi, School Prefects and beneficiaries from Another Voice Academy and Kadjebi E. P Junior High School, expressed their gratitude to the MP for the assistance, noting the importance of the items in their examination preparation. This distribution marks the fifth occasion on which the MP has supported BECE candidates in this manner.
