Accra: The Management of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has issued a warning to the public regarding a fraudulent recruitment scheme that is being circulated through the website GOLERNERSHUB.COM. This site falsely claims to be hosting a protocol recruitment portal.
According to Ghana News Agency, the GIS has made it clear that it has no connection with this false information. The Service emphasized that it has not authorized any individual, group, or third-party website to conduct recruitment or sell protocol forms on its behalf. Additionally, the Government has not provided official clearance for any recruitment exercises at this time.
An official statement from the GIS, signed by ACI Michael Amoako-Attah, Head of Public Affairs, assures the public that any authorized recruitment will be announced through credible channels, such as national newspapers and the GIS’ official platforms. The GIS Intelligence Section is working with other state security agencies to pursue credible leads to apprehend and prosecute those responsible for this fraudulent scheme.
The public is strongly advised to ignore and report any communications or solicitations from GOLERNERSHUB.COM or similar unofficial sources. Engaging with such fraudulent entities is at one’s own risk, the statement added.
