Leadership is Service: Apostle Brakatu Emphasizes Humility at ACCI Meeting

Koforidua: Apostle Clement Brakatu, the Chairman of the Apostles’ Continuation Church International (ACCI), has asserted that leadership transcends titles, positions, and coercion, emphasizing that it is fundamentally about service to God and mankind. He highlighted that modern society often equates success with titles and positions, viewing service as beneath one’s dignity.

According to Ghana News Agency, Apostle Brakatu delivered these remarks during the 29th Annual General Council meeting of the ACCI, held at the church’s event grounds in Koforidua, near Duayaw Nkwanta in the Tano North municipality of the Ahafo Region. The theme of this year’s event, ‘Ignite to Transform: Elevation Through Service,’ underscores the belief that service is central to God’s call upon every believer. The Chairman reiterated that believers are called to serve with humility, grace, and a divine purpose, becoming vessels through which God impacts others’ lives.

Apostle Brakatu urged various leaders, including parents, teachers, corporate heads, and political, religious, and traditional leaders, to serve humbly and leave a lasting legacy. He challenged them to reflect on whether their legacy will be defined by titles and accolades or by the love, service, and faith they offered.

During the meeting, Apostle Ebenezer Annang, General Secretary of ACCI, presented the State of the Church report, highlighting the church’s achievements and future goals. He noted that ACCI currently operates active branches in 14 countries across four continents, with 70 Assemblies. Apostle Annang emphasized the significance of last year’s theme launch as a landmark event for ACCI and encouraged church members to continue advancing the movement.

The week-long meeting culminated in the ordination of over 40 newly certified Pastors, who are now set to serve in the Lord’s vineyard.
