The President of the Republic, Head of State, HE Mohamed Bazoum, received on Tuesday afternoon, October 4, 2022, Mr. Tomas Ulicny, Special Envoy of the Czech Republic for the Sahel.

“The two parties are ready to enter into a partnership in the security and economic fields”, said Mr. Tomas Ulicny, on leaving the hearing.

He added that he had informed the President of the Republic of “our objective to assist Niger in the development and energy sectors”.

“We discussed issues related to security, especially the situation in Burkina Faso which concerns us”, continued Mr. Tomas Ulicny, affirming that “we greatly appreciate the role of Niger in the stability of the Sahel region.
