Accra: Mr. Daniel Asiedu, a Talent Consultant and Licensed Counselor, has encouraged individuals of all ages to explore their God-given talents to achieve their life goals and aspirations. He emphasized that everyone is born with a unique talent intended to impact others and lead a fulfilling life.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Asiedu recommended the game “Kizzo” as a tool for talent discovery. This two-legged game involves marbles and dice and can be played by two to five people. It features 17 subjects and 45 professions, represented by colors like blue, green, white, yellow, and red. The game is locally produced using materials such as wood, plastic, and velvet and is designed in a foldable structure with vertical and horizontal strands.
In an interview, Mr. Asiedu highlighted that while the game is suitable for all ages, it primarily benefits young learners. It is applicable for students from class four to tertiary levels and aims to reduce the stress associated with career choices. Approved by NaCCa as a learning material for basic schools, Kizzo helps individuals develop their potential through interest, passion, flair, and hobby.
Although launched five years ago, Kizzo continues to gain popularity in education. Mr. Asiedu plans to re-launch the game to reach more schools and institutions, promoting the idea that recognizing and utilizing one’s natural abilities can improve society.
Mr. Asiedu, also an author and founder of the Realms of Destiny Ministry International Church, shared his journey of discovering his own talent after extensive research. He encourages schools and interested parties to access the game at the Methodist Book Depot, emphasizing its dual role as entertainment and a means of uncovering innate potential.
