A Cameroonian man has died in Cape Town, South Africa after a local gang attempted to hijack his car.

Fongang Larry died after he suffered a severe head concussion upon crashing his car into an electric pole as he fled away from the hijackers on the morning of August 31, 2023, in a township on the outskirts of Cape Town called Khayelitsha.

According to our source, he had been in South Africa for 25 years and owned a flourishing furniture business in Cape Town.
