Jeddah: Saudi Arabia is set to host the fifth edition of the Hajj 1447 AH Conference and Exhibition from November 9 to 12, 2025, at the Jeddah Superdome Center. Organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the event will take place under the High Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference is a significant platform for showcasing national efforts in developing the Hajj system. It will gather specialists, experts, and representatives from various organizations within Saudi Arabia and globally to exchange experiences and best practices aimed at enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
This event underscores the Saudi government’s ongoing efforts to improve the Hajj system’s efficiency and performance at operational, organizational, and technical levels. It takes into consideration the increasing number of pilgrims and their diverse needs and expectations for a seamless and high-quality experience. The conference aims to provide a safe, organized, and efficient environment for performing the rites through investment in smart solutions and the promotion of global best practices in crowd management and on-the-ground services.
Spanning over 52,000 square meters, the congress will feature more than 260 exhibitors from 13 key sectors, including tourism, technology, healthcare, and operational services. It will also include over 95 international speakers and experts who will present more than 100 innovative ideas across 80 dialogue sessions and 60 workshops. These sessions will address future challenges and opportunities for improving the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage experience, with an expected attendance of over 150,000 visitors from Saudi Arabia and abroad.
Several flagship initiatives by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will be highlighted at the conference. These include “I’Asha-Thon” for innovative meal distribution, “Ansanat Al’Masha’ir” for enhancing comfort at holy sites, and “Sustainable Solutions” focused on clean energy and smart technologies. The Innovation Zone will feature over fifteen technology companies tackling practical challenges using artificial intelligence and data analytics to improve crowd management.
The event will also facilitate the signing of strategic agreements and partnerships to strengthen knowledge exchange and cooperation in the Hajj and Umrah sector, especially in digital transformation and systems integration. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Guests of the Merciful (Duyuf Ar-Rahman) Program, which aim to improve services and expand the use of technological solutions for a more organized and sustainable pilgrimage experience.
Overall, the conference is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to modernize the Hajj sector in line with Vision 2030 and the Program for Serving the Guests of the Merciful.
