Passore: The Secretary General of the Province (SGP) of Passore, Noelie Berehoumdougou/Kabore, presided over the September flag-raising ceremony in Yako, emphasizing the event as a crucial opportunity for information sharing among various services.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Ms. Berehoumdougou, representing the High Commissioner of Passore, highlighted the importance of this monthly gathering as a platform for directors and department heads to share updates from their respective areas. The event saw strong participation from the directors and department heads of Passore, who gathered in front of the High Commission to participate in the ceremony.
The participants sang the victory anthem, reflecting civic-mindedness and patriotic commitment. Among the attendees were young participants from a holiday camp in Yako, where they trained in karate, English, civics, and patriotism. These toddlers, along with their supervisors, joined the ceremony to foster a spirit of patriotism.
SGP Noelie Berehoumdougou/Kabore addressed the attendees, urging the provincial bodies to show increased solidarity and commitment to the welfare of the population. She encouraged department heads to use the occasion to communicate about their departmental activities, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and information dissemination.
The SGP also extended an invitation to the young campers to continue participating in these monthly ceremonies, encouraging them to nurture a sense of solidarity and patriotism. She emphasized the importance of staying committed to national causes and respecting the national flag.
The ceremony concluded with an announcement from the Provincial Directorate of Water and Forests of Passore regarding the delayed organization of a provincial tree day, scheduled to take place in the village of Tanghin in the commune of Kirsi.
