“One Region-One Industry”: Soon to launch the Program of Agro-industrial Poles.

The President of the Republic, Head of State, HE Mr. Mohamed Bazoum, chaired Wednesday morning May 25, 2022, at the Palace of the Presidency, a high-level meeting on the agro-industrial pole Program, in the presence in particular of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, HE Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou and the Ministers concerned.

The objective of the meeting was to take stock of the soon to be launched program of integrated agro-industrial poles by creating an agro-industrial park in each region for the processing and marketing of products from the selected value chains. The objective being the modernization of the rural world and the structural transformation of our agriculture.

As a reminder, the Renaissance act III campaign program, on the basis of which President Bazoum was elected, provided for an industrialization program, called “One region, One industry”, according to the comparative advantages specific to each region.
