Official ceremony for the return of displaced populations from the villages of the commune of Tondikwindi, located not far from the Malian border.

As part of the dynamics of the return of displaced populations led by the President of the Republic Mohamed Bazoum, Ouallam hosted the official ceremony for the return of displaced populations from the villages of the commune of Tondikwindi, located not far from the Malian border.

Indeed, this ceremony chaired by the Deputy Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic Mr. Daouda Djibo Takoubakoye, concerns about 10,000 displaced people who will return to their land and resume a normal life after nearly 3 years spent in Ouallam.

A security plan has been put in place to guarantee them, once returned, their safety and so that they can carry out their economic activities in complete peace of mind, especially at the start of the rainy season.

The Deputy Director of Cabinet wished to convey the thanks of the Head of State to the populations of Ouallam for their great solidarity with these populations.

The ceremony ended with songs and dance steps, in an atmosphere of joy of these populations, happy to finally return home.
