Accra: President John Dramani Mahama has bid farewell to Madam Virginia E. Palmer, the outgoing United States Ambassador to Ghana. This marks the conclusion of her three-year duty tour in the country.
According to Ghana News Agency, at the meeting, President Mahama and Madam Palmer engaged in a productive discussion about the strong ties between their two nations. The President expressed gratitude to Madam Palmer for her dedicated service and contributions during her tenure and wished her the very best in her future endeavors. ‘Ghana deeply values its relationship with the United States,’ President Mahama stated.
On her part, Madam Palmer reaffirmed the partnership between Ghana and the United States. She also emphasized the need for deepening their commercial ties to promote economic recovery and prosperity in both countries.
