Kenedougou: The vital forces of the commune of N’dorola, in collaboration with the health district and the Regional Blood Transfusion Center (CRTS) of Guiriko, organized two blood donation operations on Saturday, August 9, and Saturday, August 30, 2025, collecting 165 bags.

According to Burkina Information Agency, these blood donation operations were in response to the national solidarity campaign launched by the President of Faso. The campaign calls on Burkinabe people to donate blood to save lives, particularly those of pregnant women, children under five, and combat forces engaged on the front line.

Dieudonne Ouedraogo, representative of the N’dorola forces, stated, “We have responded to the patriotic call made by the highest authorities of our country. This is a civic act, but above all a gesture of life.”

The operations saw strong mobilization from local populations, which helped exceed the set objectives and demonstrated a commitment to addressing the health and security challenges in Burkina Faso.

Dr. Salimata Karambiri, head of the N’dorola medical center, praised the synergy between citizens, local authorities, and technical health services. She urged the continuation of such initiatives to sustainably support the national blood transfusion system.
