The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three sugar factories with the view to enhancing productivity by conducting research and using modern technologies.



CEOs of the Corporation and Wonji Sugar Factory, Metehara Sugar Factory, and Tana Beles Sugar Factory signed the MoU today.



Speaking on the occasion, IPDC CEO Aklilu Tadesse said the agreement aims to enhance productivity of the factories by conducting research and using modern technologies.



According to him, as the Corporation has rich experience in conducting research for industries, among others, the newly signed agreement could enhance productivity and profitability of the factories.



CEOs of the 3 sugar factories on their part expressed their hope that the agreement would help them to boost productivity and to regain their productive capacity by solving various challenges.
