Accra: Renowned playwright Latif Abubakar debuted his highly anticipated ‘Ghana Must Go – The Promise Land’ theatre production, which revealed Ghana’s enormous tourism potential. Globe Productions, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, staged the ‘Ghana Must Go’ play as part of a global campaign under ‘The Big Push Ghana Project’ and the ‘Black Star Experience’.

According to Ghana News Agency, audiences were ecstatic during the two-day showing of the theatrical masterpiece, which featured a strong and intensely patriotic journey of several characters. The performance, starred by popular actor Adjetey Annan, amplified the campaign to project Ghana as a leading destination for tourism, investment, and cultural excellence.

From exhibiting dance cultures of various ethnic groups to promoting the country’s stunning tourism destinations and attractions, the play was a thrilling experience that held audiences spellbound. It showed how some young travelers were enthralled with Ghan
a’s tourism attractions and were reluctant to return abroad.

The theatrical performance also wowed audiences with some dazzling music and dance moves from the performers who were flawless with their acting skills. The ‘Ghana Must Go’ stage play is expected to embark on a worldwide tour in the coming months as part of efforts to position Ghana as a premier destination for tourism.

The ‘Ghana Must Go’ theatrical performance was the 20th play of Globe Productions in their 15-year existence, making them one of the highly renowned producers of stage plays.
