Accra: Ghana has officially launched the National Business Agenda (NBA) to reform the entrepreneurial environment and enhance support for youth and women-led enterprises. Developed by the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE) with technical assistance from the Investment Climate Reform Facility, the NBA seeks to address structural barriers hindering entrepreneurship.
According to Ghana News Agency, the agenda outlines policy recommendations to tackle credit access limitations, gender disparities in procurement, weak incubation infrastructure, and outdated regulatory frameworks. Mr. Sherif Ghali, Chief Executive Officer of GCYE, stated that the initiative reflects insights gathered from over 100 entrepreneurs and 60 ecosystem stakeholders. He emphasized that youth and women must be central to the national growth agenda in achieving economic transformation.
Madam Margaret Ansei, CEO of the Ghana Enterprise Agency (GEA), hailed the NBA as a catalyst for public-private cooperation in entrepreneurship poli
