Futurestars Charity Donates Sports Equipment to Hulafau Basic School in Kpandai

Kpandai: Futurestars Charity, a non-governmental organisation, has presented sports items to Hulafau Basic School in Kpandai District, Northern Region. The items included a full set of sports jerseys and tracksuits.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Ganiwu Alhassan, who presented the items on behalf of Futurestars Charity, stated that the donation was made possible through their ongoing partnership with Brighton and Hove Albion FC and their United Kingdom-based partners. ‘At Futurestars Charity, we believe in the power of sport and education to change lives. This donation is another step in our mission to create opportunities, build confidence, and develop young leaders across Ghana and beyond,’ he said.

The donation brought joy and excitement to the staff and pupils who were elated with the kind gesture. Upon receiving the items, Mr. Ibrahim Osuman, the headteacher of the school, expressed heartfelt gratitude and offered a prayer for the continued growth of the organisation. He said the school needs this
kind of initiative so that many children could benefit.

Mr. Andrews Atta, the assistant headteacher of the school, added that the support was a great source of motivation. ‘Indeed, this is a rare act of kindness; we, the facilitators, learners, and the entire school community, are overwhelmed, and this donation will help us unlock the full potential of these future leaders,’ said Mr. Atta. He further added that the donation was the first of its kind for the school, and it would go a long way in boosting the morale of learners, promoting participation in school sports, and inspiring excellence.
