Accra: Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Minister for Foreign Affairs, has received the Open Letters of Mr. Athanasios V. Kotsionis, Ambassador-designate of the Hellenic Republic of Greece to Ghana. Mr Ablakwa congratulated the Ambassador-designate on his appointment and welcomed the opportunity to deepen bilateral ties between Ghana and Greece.

According to Ghana News Agency, the discussions between Mr Ablakwa and Mr Kotsionis explored avenues to boost cooperation in tourism, the green economy, and the maritime sector. Both parties highlighted the importance of forming partnerships that are mutually beneficial for their respective nations.

Ambassador-Designate Kotsionis reaffirmed Greece’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding relations with Ghana. He pledged to work closely with Ghanaian authorities to expand areas of collaboration, emphasizing Greece’s dedication to fostering a robust and cooperative relationship with Ghana.
