The Ebonyi State Government in Southeast Nigeria has Inaugurated Anti Corruption Commission in the state.

This will help in checkmating the activities of Ministries, Departments and Agencies to avoid corruption in all ramifications.

The Commission under the Chairmanship of Mr Sabinus Nwankwegu was inaugurated by the Governor of the State, David Umahi immediately after the Executive Meeting held at Executive Council Chambers in Abakaliki, the State Capital.

Umahi Charged the Chairman and Members of the Commission to work very hard in accordance with the specifications of their duties.

“The former public Complain Commission didn’t do their work well. So I urge you to do your work well,” Umahi said.

Test Flight

Umahi also used the opportunity to announce that the landing of the inaugural flight at Ebonyi State International Airport would be on Thursday, 27th April, 2023.

He said the flight is Airpeace from Lagos and Abuja.

Governor Umahi added that each of the Flights would be an 80 capacity flight.
