Banwa High Commissioner Urges Behavioral Change Among Residents

Banwa: The High Commissioner of Banwa Province, Sanfienale Joseph Sirima, called on the population to change their behavior on Monday, 1 September 2025 at the provincial directorate of agriculture and fisheries resources, during the rotating raising of the national colors.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the traditional rotating raising of the colors every first Monday of the month was observed at the provincial directorate of agriculture and fisheries resources in Banwa. The event was attended by administrative, customary, and religious authorities, the Defense and Security Forces, as well as leaders of various social classes.

Mr. Sirima emphasized the significance of respecting national symbols and urged the population to unite and embrace a change in behavior in alignment with the popular progressive revolution. “We must demonstrate our commitment to our nation because a revolutionary finds a solution to every problem. We cannot call ourselves revolutionary and expect everything from the state itself, if it means plugging the holes in our concessions,” he stated.

The High Commissioner called on each individual to contribute to the development of the province and to consistently align their actions with the objectives of the popular progressive revolution.
