The President of the Republic, Head of State, HE Mohamed Bazoum, received Thursday at the end of the afternoon, June 16, 2022, a group of Nigerien book professionals, in particular textbook publishers.

“This is the very first time in 30 years, 40 years that we have been making books that we have been received by the President of the Republic to talk about our profession, books in particular general works and school textbooks”, said the spokesperson for the collective, Mr. Issoufi Alzouma Oumarou.

The interview mainly focused on textbooks and the circuit so that they are accepted by the Ministry of Education and used in schools throughout Niger, he said.
