As part of the activities to mark the 50th Anniversary of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria, the Corps’ Spokesperson, Mrs. Ngozi Ukwuoma, has received a merit award from NYSC for rendering selfless long service to the corps.
The NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Mercy Bamai performed the award Ceremony at Pastoral Center mile 50, Abakaliki the State Capital during their award night.
Mrs. Ukwuoma before this award has been a hard working Public Relation Officer who makes sure that there is a cordial relationship between NYSC, Employers and host communities.
The State Coordinator further said the award is to encourage all recipients to do more.
“To whom much is given, much is expected, I urge you the awardees to continue in your good works. This award should be a motivation unto your life.”
Other awardees are; Mr Chijiuka Onwukwe, Izzi Local Government Chairman, Barrister Steven Neankpa, Ezza North Local Government Area Chairman, Chief Moses Ogoali Nome, Odogu Joseph among others.
On her part, Mrs. Ukwuoma on behalf of others thanked the management and staff of NYSC for noting their contribution towards enhancing the activities of the corps in the State.
